Description
3.5 mm round, unfaceted Azurite Malachite beads. Each bead shows a mix of azurite blue and malachite green. Approximately 50 beads per strand.
Geologically, Azurite and Malachite often form together in copper-rich environments through a process of weathering and oxidation. The result is a gem/mineral showing both distinct blue and green hues derived from copper compounds present in their composition.
Because stone beads are cut and polished by hand and/or machine-cut, the size of each bead in a strand may vary slightly. As well, color may also vary from one bead to another in natural stones.
